This is an official ORV area on Lake Keystone. Known to many as "motorcycle island" this riding area is only about 15 minutes from downtown Tulsa.

From Tulsa take US-412 west past Sand Springs.

Just across bridge exit at Appalachia Bay/Washington Irving.

Turn right then right again to cross over highway.

Turn left and follow road to recreation area.

The gate to the ORV area is just past the entrance on your left.

From Tulsa and Oklahoma City:

Take I-44 to Lawton. When passing through OKC follow I-35 south then rejoin I-44.

In the northeast Lawton area, take Rogers Lane Bypass US-62 west toward Altus. There is an EZ GO convenience store 4 miles down Rogers Lane with food and fuel.

Continue west on US-62 and follow the directions below...
From Dallas/Ft. Worth:

Go to Wichita Falls via 287.

Take I-44 north 45 minutes to Lawton (final food & fuel).

Exit Cache Road and go west through Lawton, continuing through on US-62 toward Altus.

Follow the directions below...
From Amarillo:
-
Take 287 to Memphis, TX.
-
In downtown Memphis take 256 east to 83. On 83, jog south a few miles to US-62.
-
Take US-62 east into Oklahoma through Altus (final food & fuel), then continue east.
Then...
-
Roughly mid way between Altus and Lawton, from US-62, turn onto OK-54 North toward Gotebo.

2 miles from US-62 cross railroad tracks, then pass OK-49 at 7-1/3 miles. At 11 miles 54 will start to rise gently, with hills immediately on the left and rocks sticking up out of the pastures. A green highway sign "Cemetery" indicates the gravel road you will turn on.

At 11-1/3 miles, turn off OK-54 onto the gravel road, go right or east. You will see an old concrete foundation on the right. Going east you will be facing the Wichita Mountains. Pass by the cemetery on the right at 1/3 mile. At 1 mile pass the minor dirt road on the left. At 2 miles you will come to a 4-way intersection with no traffic signs.

Go right or south 1/3 mile approaching a creek area. Pass the first gate on the right. Go in the second gate and park where directed.
Gruber is a 450 acre ORV area about 3 miles north of Braggs, OK. An old quarry site provides plenty of rocks plus woods and trails along the banks of the Arkansas River.

From Muskogee follow US-62 east.

Go past the Muskogee Turnpike and look for the junction of OK-10.

Take OK-10 south towards Braggs.

About 6 miles from US-62 watch for the ORV Area sign on your right.

The white entrance gate is on the SOUTH side of the road (on the North side there are a couple of above ground tanks). Once on the property veer to the southwest, past the pump jack and down towards the trees to the parking area. With the Google map you can get directions, search for food, hotels and\or camping in the area.
The only hotel in the city of Cleveland is the Victorian Inn located on highway 64 by the Judy Ann restaurant. Rates are ~~$59 for a single and ~~$63 for a double. The number is (918)-358-3531.

Riding is only permitted on specific days \ times.

To enter the land you must open a cattle gate - REMEMBER TO CLOSE IT AFTER YOU PASS THROUGH!!

There is no riding permitted in the open pasture. All riding areas will be designated to the woods and the trials event area.

There will be marked roads to follow to the riding area. No one is to explore the land with their vehicle. There will be a designated area for parking.

The area is primitive, there is no camping permitted. Camping and hotels can be found in nearby Cleveland - check the Google map. There are no facilities on-site (though we are looking into some for the event).

Matt Stephenson must be present at all times. (His Grandfather owns the land).

Haul your trash and be respectful of the land and there are possibilities we can ride here again.
Grand Lake is the site of our region's most popular motorcycle trials event. The annual OctoberTest is a two-day event attracting top riders from across the country. Events are held near the Cherokee State Park or Hogan's Off-Road Park located between the towns of Langley and Disney.

From Tulsa follow I-44 or US-66 east to OK-28.

Take OK-28 east through Adair to OK-82 junction.

From Joplin follow I-44 or US-66 west to Vinita.

Take US-60 east to OK-82, then go south to OK-28.

From the OK-82/28 junction proceed on OK-28 east through Langley and across the Pensacola Dam.

Paddock area is just east of the dam.
Ravia, near Tishomingo private property
This area is near Tishomingo, but you'll swear you just arrived in Colorado. Huge granite boulders, tall cedars and a meandering creek await you in this trials rider's paradise! The area is privately owned and primitive camping is available.

After Mill Creek follow OK-1 to Ravia.

At Henryetta follow the Indian Nations Turnpike.

Exit at US-69 and go south through Atoka.

At OK-7 turn left and go west.

Take US-377 south through Tishomingo.

Turn at OK-22 and go west about 2.5 miles.

From OK-22 turn north on Lake Estates Road.

Follow the ribbons about 3 miles down the gravel road.
